also known as Hawkes Bay Branch of the Anthroposophical Society in NZ
The Socirty owns the Rudolf Steiner Centre in Hastings on the corner 500 Nelson Street N and 401 Whitehead Road.

We hope you enjoy access via the virtual world and even more we hope it helps you to physically find and join with us in Hastings (New Zealand)

Membership of the worldwide General Anthroposophical Society (GAS) is open to any individual who wishes to affirm Anthroposophy and the worldwide spiritual scientific work, based at the Goetheanum, Dornach (near Basel) Switzerland.

This is an open society, but without a political agenda or religious affiliation.  Individual members may have.

Becoming a member opens up opportunities to meet with others who strive to integrate the spiritual with their everyday life and work. 

Being a member of any religion, political party or culture, is not a hindrance to joining the Anthroposophical Society. The philosophy and spiritual insights of the Austrian philosopher, writer and lecturer, Rudolf Steiner inspire the work of the Society. 

The General Anthroposophical Society has Branches in many Countries. Here it is:
The Anthroposophical Society in New Zealand, which has some regional branches which organise local activities and meetings.

Membership of the Hawkes Bay Branch is open to any member of the General Anthroposophical Society living in Hawkes Bay.  Our weekly Newsletter is available to anyone who wishes to receive it find out what's on -- please contact us.  

If you are a GAS member new to the area, you are eligible to join the Branch if you wish. I you are not a member of the GAS you may like to become a 'Friend'.  To Register your interest in receiving a weekly link to a Newsletter giving information about local events and articles exploring life from an anthroposophical context.  Please contact us. We would love to hear from you.
