Calendar of Coming Events-- Diary Dates

unless stated otherwise.

The Committee ask that visitors to events in the Centre pay a contribution into the Koha box in the Foyer, as we we have regular bills for electric power, city rates, insurance, and maintenance for an aging building.

  • Thursday 28 November. 5:30pm.  HBB Committee meeting.
  • Saturday 7 December, 9:30 to noon. School of Spiritual Science First Class. Mantra 2. Recapitulation series.
  • Friday 13 December, 7pm. Leading Thoughts 127 to 130. Letter "Second Study: How the Michael Forces work in the earliest unfolding of the Spiritual Soul" p112.

Taikura Fête Stall for the Branch

Many items, mainly those from Sandra Cowen before she left for England, were sold raising $180 for the Steiner Centre, plus a donation to Taikura.  Many thanks to Fran who provided library books for a display,  and to Linda, Angela, Diana and Robin for their hard work setting up, attending for 5 hours and dismantling the stall.

Ursula Reuter has had her hip replaced this week and is recovering at her partner’s ( Wolfgang )  house in Havelock North.
She asked me to put a brief message in the next newsletter letting people know.

Room Hire

From 1 January 2025 Room Hire rates will be:

  • Main Room [About 100m2, with 50+ upholstered, stackable chairs] $30 per hour.
  • Art Room [3 work tables 2400x800, 30 stackable chairs, wall blackboard, sink] $20 per hour.
  • Consulting Room [Furnished; Small groups up to 5 persons] $15 per hour.

When the rooms are used for anthroposophical meetings they are not "hired", but they must be booked via the website or the Treasurer).  For such meetings attendees are expected to make KOHA contributions in the foyer box.
